Freddy Semple another fine guitarist to have come
from Strabane. Freddy started playing guitar at a young age and was soon
out with bands touring the country, as a blues guitarist his talent has
influenced many a local who would watch him play. Freddy has a great
knowledge of his music and is a master of the finer chords. One of many
bands Freddy played in was called Hard Contract based in Strabane a well
known band for its blues and rock songs, Hard Contract was one of the
opening acts at Strabane rocks for charity, a large open air concert in
Strabane to raise money for good causes. Freddy also played in the
Nighthawks with local jazz drummer Joe Gill and many other bands over
the years. |
