Hoot Houston, Strabane born an breed and proud to be
from the town. A town that has a background full of great musicians.
Hoot has played in many bands through the years from his first outing
with Mean Mood to playing bass with Rockafella. Hoot was a keen blues
player and influenced by other local guitar players when he was younger,
listening to Pete O Hanlon, Freddy Semple, Slasher, and Ian Mc Gowan
around the local pubs was a large factor in his playing style. |
